CAFCO FIBER-PATCH / ISOLATEK Type P is a versatile, hand applied fire resistive material designed for patching damaged CAFCO / ISOLATEK dry-mix and wet-mix Spray-Applied Fire Resistive Materials (SFRMs).
CAFCO FIBER-PATCH / ISOLATEK Type P has excellent bonding characteristics and easily adheres to CAFCO / ISOLATEK dry-mix and wet-mix SFRMs, and galvanized or bare steel surfaces.
Benefits
- Excellent bonding characteristics to adhere to both steel surfaces and SFRMs. Provides an ideal patching and repair material.
- Easy to use and requires no special equipment. For small areas, it can be easily mixed in a 5 gallon (19 liter) bucket and applied by hand or trowel.
Product Uses For repairs of damaged or abated wet or dry spray SFRMs. Individual patches are limited to 3 ft2 (0.3 m2) for dry-mix and 1 ft2 (0.3 m2) for wet spray products. For complete instructions, please refer to the FIBER-PATCH Short Form Application Guide.
