Dry Spray
The application of CAFCO® BLAZE-SHIELD® II / ISOLATEK® Type II, CAFCO BLAZE-SHIELD II HS and CAFCO BLAZE-SHIELD HP / ISOLATEK Type HP consists of conditioning the material through the application equipment and pneumatically conveying it through the hose to the nozzle where atomized water is introduced.
Wet Spray
Intumescent
Interior application is performed through a three step process including steel primer, intumescent base coat, and an optional decorative and protective top coat. Exterior application is performed through a four step process including steel primer, intumescent base coat, two coats of SprayFilm Topseal / ISOLATEK Type Topseal, and a decorative and protective top coat.
Rigid Board
The application of CAFCO-BOARD® / ISOLATEK® Type CB requires basic carpentry hand tools. The board is installed in a box configuration by using friction fit patented CAFCLIPS™ or weld pins on beams and columns.
