It will be an estimated investment of between $350 million and $400 million which will be operational in 2024. The Seagen building complex will be 270,000ft² (25,083.8m²), site covering 20.5 acres of land in Everett. Seagen’s new biomanufacturing facility will be constructed from the ground up into a modern production facility to make advanced medicines.
Recognized applicator Norkote Construction applied our CAFCO BLAZE-SHIELD HP / ISOLATEK Type HP & CAFCO FENDOLITE M-II/P / ISOLATEK Type M-II/P Spray-Applied Fireproofing Material (SFRM) on this project, providing 4 hours of protection to the steel. CAFCO BLAZE-SHIELD HP was sprayed on the beams and some interior columns, while CAFCO FENDOLITE M-II/P was applied to the perimeter columns. Metal lath and corner bead were affixed to the steel up to 10 feet. CAFCO FENDOLITE M-II/P / ISOLATEK Type M-II/P was applied over the lath and the rest of the column. Where CAFCO FENDOLITE M-II/P met the lath, it was trowelled, giving it a hard and smooth surface. CAFCO FENDOLITE M-II/P / ISOLATEK Type M-II/P formulation meets the need for a High-Density SFRM, but is lightweight versus concrete, allowing less load to the steel structure. CAFCO FENDOLITE M-II/P is backed by rigorous testing and quality control. These critical tests include UL 1709, Jet Fire, Three-Bar Blast Overpressure with Subsequent Jet Fire, Three-Bar Blast Overpressure with Subsequent UL 1709, and Torch Fire and Hose Stream. CAFCO FENDOLITE M-II/P / ISOLATEK Type M-II/P also passes the Liquid Nitrogen Immersion and LPG Storage Vessels tests. CAFCO BLAZE-SHIELD HP meets or exceeds all major fire protection specifications for Commercial structures including ANSI/ UL 263, ASTM E119, and CAN/ ULC-S101. It is suitable to remain exposed to various extreme weather environments during construction, providing exceptional flexibility for sequencing and scheduling of projects.
