The Board of Directors of Isolatek International is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott J. Schwartz as Isolatek’s new Chief Executive Officer. Scott began in his new role on December 5, 2018, replacing former CEO, Eric Haaijer, who unexpectedly passed away in June of 2018.
Scott comes to Isolatek with an extensive background in Intermediate and Specialty Chemicals, and a proven record of success in executing successful Global Business Strategy. After a year of strong sales, and with Scott’s strategic direction and vision, Isolatek is well positioned for further market growth through new product development and global expansion. To meet growing global demand, Isolatek continues to build on capabilities and strategic relationships in key markets to manufacture and sell passive fire protection solutions.
Schwartz said, “I am extremely excited to be part of this great organization and a member of the executive team. I see great opportunity to capitalize on its strong team, build on the current momentum and accelerate Isolatek’s growth.”
Scott’s previous roles include Regional Business Unit Head for Arkema’s Functional Additives Division with global responsibility for its Glass Coatings business, Regional President for the Thiochemicals Division with global responsibility for their Mercaptan business, and most recently, leading Perstorp’s Specialty and Solutions Division in the Americas.
