The Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park is the new open-air ETFE roof-covered stadium located in Inglewood, California. This newest NFL stadium will cost $4.25 billion with a capacity of 70,240 seats. With the additions of a planned retail and commercial development as well as the new home of the NFL Network, the total cost of the project is expected to approach $5 billion if not more.
The Los Angeles Stadium architects specified commercial, medium, and high density fireproofing materials along with Intumescent Coatings. Rolling Plains Construction, Inc., Isolatek International’s Recognized Applicator, is applying CAFCO 300, CAFCO 400, CAFCO FENDOLITE M-II, CAFCO SprayFilm WB 4 & CAFCO SprayFilm WB 4 TG on the structural steel. The stadium is set for completion in 2020. The stadium will be the new home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. It is also scheduled to host Super Bowl LVI in February 2022, the College Football Playoff National Championship in January 2023 and the 2028 Summer Olympics.
