Stanhope, NJ – March 27, 2024 – Isolatek International announced today that it has acquired certain assets of Albi Protective Coatings, a wholly owned subsidiary of StanChem Resins.
Based in East Berlin, Connecticut, Albi Protective Coatings, develops and supplies a range of industry-leading protective coatings for fire-resistive and thermal-resistive applications. Founded in 1968, Albi developed one of the first UL Listed, intumescent products for steel. Albi has built a reputation for innovation and leadership in the passive fire protection industry.
The Albi Protective Coatings’ range of innovative intumescent fire protection and specialized thermal barrier materials expands Isolatek’s range of passive fire protection products. The Albi sales organization will be joining the Isolatek sales team to continue to serve its customer base.
