Location: Paris, France
Products: ISOLATEK® Type 300
Isolatek International’s ISOLATEK Type 300 was selected to protect the Hôtel Lutetia. Type 300 is a Wet-Mix Spray-Applied Fireproofing Material that offers the most cost-effective fire resistance performance per unit thickness of any low-density product in the world and provides up to 4-hour fire resistance ratings.
The Hôtel Lutetia located on the Left Bank is the latest renovation brought up to 21st-century standards. The Set Hotel Group invested in over 200 Million Euros for the refurbishment, which took four years to complete.
The Lutetia opened in 1907 when the Boucicaut family owners of Le Bon Marche wanted to accommodate out of town clientele and suppliers. It opened in 1910; and was the epitome of the Art Nouveau architecture movement with new amenities such as hot running water, air conditioning, telephones and rolling shutters in every room. The last renovation in the early 1980s. In 2014 they decided to renovate again.
